Coffee upgraded

Like most people out there I love to start my mornings with a strong cup of coffee. Also like most people I do not tolerate dairy. The solution to this is bulletproof coffee. (note I also eat breakfast first before my coffee)

 

Not only do you keep your gut healthy and free from inflammation but you get a great energy and fat burning boost. Caffeine is fat soluble so it is transported more effectively into your bloodstream when you consume it with a high fat source. The high fat content of the butter and oil also help to slow down the digestion of the drink making it a slow release fat burning powerhouse! The cinnamon helps to balance blood sugar and reduce inflammation as well as supplying a host of potent antioxidants.

 

Ingredients

Approx 250 – 500ml brewed coffee

1 tbsp organic grass fed butter

1 tbsp organic coconut oil or mct oil

1-2 tsp cinnamon

 

Directions

Brew your coffee (coffee quality matters, but a high grade product and grind your beans fresh each time)

Add you butter, oil and cinnamon

 

Let sit for few minutes, stir and enjoy!
