This is a recipe that I got from the Joe Rogan podcast. It is a nutrition and antioxidant powerhouse, a quick way to get in those veggies with minimal effort. I traditionally have a hard time eating all the veggies I should be for optimal health and recovery from hard workouts. This has been a great time saver and I have been using it for about 2 months as a mid day snack before heading off to Kickboxing.
4 stalks celery
4 stalks kale
2-4 cloves of garlic
1 thumb sized chunk of ginger
As long as you have a good blender (I just use a Ninja) then you can just toss all the ingredients in and blend for a minute or two.
If your blender is a little under powered then start with the apple, water, celery and cucumber and after they are blended smooth add the remaining ingredients.
